On May 11, 1980, Ben Priest met Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior on the streets of Houston, Texas. After living many years in rebellion as an outlaw biker addicted to drugs and alcohol, Ben prayed a simple prayer. "Jesus, if you can help me, I'll give my life to you." Jesus saved Ben and filled him with the Holy Ghost. He was healed of kidney and liver disease and for the first time in years, he was in his right mind.
At the time of his salvation, all Ben knew was motorcycles and street life, and that he wanted to be used by the Lord. Jesus gave him the vision for Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministries in prayer and also blessed him with a motorcycle which became a pulpit. Ben was sent forth to evangelize the outlaw biker world, a segment of society not ordinarily reached with the Gospel. Multiple chapters of TRIBE of JUDAH have been established across America, and in Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Spain, and Sweden.
The ministry Jesus has given Ben has not only taken him to bikers, but to people in all walks of life. He has shared his testimony through various media avenues including with Pastor John Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, the 700 Club, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and Mike Barber Prison Ministry. He and his wife, Tammy, have also been hosts for the local TBN "Praise the Lord" show in Houston. Ben has ministered the life-transforming Gospel message for over 40 years, at motorcycle rallies, biker Sunday events, schools, youth rallies, rehab facilities & prisons and is a featured speaker/minister for special church services, conferences, men’s events and retreats, community-wide outreaches, and in bible schools.
It is Ben's desire to see people saved, healed, delivered and restored in every area of life as he shares a powerful message of encouragement and commitment. He declares the Heartbeat of Heaven that "God has a plan and a purpose for everyone and He's in need of you". Ben encourages people to " become the peer pressure rather than submit to peer pressure ", and ministers hope, freedom, and the blessing of God! Jesus, the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah”, is truly the same, yesterday, today, and forevermore!
Ben is also the senior pastor of River of God Church, birthed and located at the Ministry Headquarters facility. He and his wife, Tammy, are carriers of revival, experiencing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the church as well as in the mission field. They have witnessed powerful signs, wonders, and miracles manifested in people's lives including blind eyes healed, deaf ears opened, terminal illnesses healed, and tremendous financial miracles. Ben and Tammy and their family, are laborers together in the work of the Lord and have truly experienced the faithfulness of God, believing and demonstrating . . .
